Rabbi Riccardo Shemuel Di Segni, MD

Chief Rabbi of Rome

Rabbi Di Segni was born in Rome in 1949. Since 2001 he has been Chief Rabbi of Rome and director of the Italian Rabbinical School. He is also vice president of the Comitanto Nazionale per la Bioetica. Rabbi Di Segni is a retired medical doctor (radiologist). He is the author of books and articles on several aspects of Jewish culture and is active in Jewish-Christian dialogue.
