Rev. Terrence P. Ehrman, CSC, PhD
Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor, Department of Theology
University of Notre Dame
Rev. Terrence P. Ehrman, C.S.C., Ph.D., is a Holy Cross priest with a master’s degree in aquatic ecology and a doctorate in systematic theology who investigates the relationship between theology and science, particularly the life sciences of ecology and evolution. He focuses on understanding how claims of conflict between science and faith can be overcome and how integral ecology – the integration of natural ecology and human ecology – provides a broader vision of humankind and our relationship with creation. Fr. Ehrman is currently a visiting assistant teaching faculty member of the Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame. He teaches Science, Theology, and Creation and Theology and Ecology in the Department of Theology and Aquatic Ecology in the Department of Biological Sciences.
